Paradigm shifts in the L&D space fueling self-directed learning, an emphasis on soft skills development, and needs for custom content curation have presented a significant opportunity for TED to continue to develop a B2B business.
TED is seeking an experienced and highly-entrepreneurial sales and marketing executive. This candidate will inform critical decisions about TED’s channel partner ecosystem, technology relationships, and product and content offerings, and will help create go-to-market plans within L&D that align with TED’s core competencies and unique brand promise.
The ideal candidate has 5-10 years experience in SaaS and/or content sales and marketing, ideally within the L&D and/or Ed Tech industries. This candidate should have a firm understanding of content providers and platforms in the L&D space.
This person must understand how to make decision based on buyers' needs and pain points, have an understanding of the way (s) content is being delivered to learners in the corporate setting, and what business operations are required to succeed in this arena. Experience building a reseller and channel partner network is a must.
This position reports to the head of Global Distribution & Licensing and will work closely with TED’s L&D partner success and product point people, cooperating across several teams at TED that touch the L&D market. This candidate will have an eye towards serving customer needs and market trends through both streamlined integrations, and efficient internal operations.
