POSITION OVERVIEW

The TED Impact coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the TED Impact team (currently working on TED Countdown, the organization’s wider impact strategy and philanthropy). The role will include research, material drafting (for internal and external use) and administrative support. Experience and/or personal passion for the impact space is a plus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research convenings, offerings, and activations in the nonprofit/media landscape to inform TED’s philanthropic strategy
  • Research and create briefing materials on potential funders and donors for TED, a nonprofit organization
  • Supports scheduling, coordination, and planning for philanthropy and impact-related meetings, activations, and events
  • Supports the development of Impact and Philanthropy storytelling materials 

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Enthusiasm for TED’s initiatives, communities, and organization mission
  • Passion for social impact and interest in the philanthropy/nonprofit field 
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Detail oriented; proven ability to research thoroughly 
  • Self-starter, comfortable collaborating strategically across multiple teams simultaneously
